The Beit Tovei Ha’ir Jerusalem retirement community offers a wide range of activities that span many different areas of interest, to stimulate the body and the mind.
Our activities include:
Torah Activities, Sport and Health Activities, and Cultural & Leisure Activities.
What would you like to do today?
Our sport and exercise classes include posture sessions, Tai Chi, Zumba, gentle exercise and more. Residents can take advantage of our well-equipped gym with a personal professional trainer, a heated therapeutic swimming pool, and both wet and dry saunas.

Our art and crafts curriculum includes drawing classes, bead-work, jewelry-making, embroidery, knitting, fabric crafts, making items from recycled materials, and oil painting.
every Sunday we hold a midrasha for woman. Women from the vicinity join the residents for two classes on torani subjects.
Beit Tovei Ha’ir residents can choose to take Ulpan classes at their own level, as well as conversational Hebrew, folk-dancing, current events, sing-a-longs, designing a garden, and more.
Every afternoon there is a choice of two lectures – one in English, one in Hebrew – on a wide range of topics, such as music, science, history, literature, Parshat HaShavua and more. Additional lectures and documentaries are screened on our internal TV channel.
Our competitive in-house Bible Quiz has become a highlight of the year at Beit Tovei Ha’ir.
We invite local and national performers to give concerts in a range of styles, including Chazanut, Israeli songs, and classical music. Two movies are screened every week on our internal TV channel.
In addition to enjoying the beautiful gardens of our Jerusalem retirement community, we take every opportunity to enjoy outdoor walks and outings when the weather allows. Our excursions program includes day trips in the Jerusalem area and around Israel, including visits to visit Israel’s wonderful historical and natural attractions and museums. We also enjoy guided three-day vacations in the North of Israel in the summer and in Eilat in the winter months.
